COCONUT LOFT ART GALLERY
The Coconut Loft Art Gallery and Coffee Shop at 8 Waterloo Road, Lowestoft NR33 0AA was opened in 2014 by Richard Toombs (1957-) and Georgina Heath and was just south of the pier and brought together an art gallery, a deli and their Italian coffee house. It hosted live music, local art exhibitions, including Suffolk Artlink, and served luxury hot chocolates and coffee. The Coconut Loft Art Gallery and Coffee Shop closed in 2020 following the impact of the coronavirus pandemic. Suffolk artists who exhibited at The Coconut Loft Art Gallery include Anthony Giltrow and Brigitte Quennehen.
