The property at 10 Church Street, Framlingham, Suffolk is a creative re-invention of Framlingham’s old Constitutional Club which closed in 2018 and is now home to the Common Room Café, Rooms for short hire, Exhibition space, Creative studios, and a Youth club with the former theatre next to the club also part of this historic building group. The property was purchased by Paperhouse Properties Ltd, set up with the intention of rescuing the building and delivering some creative public good. In the first six months of its new life, several artists took rooms in the building using the club as they found it but with building renovation work completed in August 2020 when the first studios opened. The Corner Room is available for hire by the week as an exhibition and pop-up retail space. Suffolk artists who have exhibited with the Corner Room Gallery include Rebecca Bergese, Nicola Coe, Louise Craigie, Claudia Silva and Lesley Taylor.
