THUMB GALLERY

The Thumb Gallery was established within the heart of London's West End at 20-21 D'Arblay Street, in 1974 and moved to Lexington Street, Soho in 1987 and changing its name to Jill George Gallery in 1991. The Jill George Gallery currently organises 'pop-up' exhibitions within the West End three or four times a year and participates in Art Fairs in London and internationally. The Gallery represents paintings, drawings, watercolours, monoprints and limited edition prints by British Contemporary artists from the established artist to the recent graduate. both abstract and figurative work is represented with 3D work by Mark Firth and David Mach. The Gallery organises commissions on behalf of the artists and works closely with architects and interior designers providing the ancillary services from the selection to the installation. Suffolk artists who exhibited at the Thumb Gallery include Trevor Allen, David Haste and Terry Shave and at the Jill George Gallery Dale Devereux Barker.
