Wildlife Art Gallery

The Wildlife Art Gallery was founded in 1988 by Andrew Haslen at 97-99 High Street, Lavenham, Suffolk to specialise in 20th Century and contemporary wildlife art. Over the years Wildlife Art Gallery has held retrospective exhibitions by artists such as Richard Barrett Talbot Kelly (1896-1971), Peter Markham Scott (1909-1989) and Donald Watson (1918-2005) and have had exhibitions by many of the best artists working both here and in Europe. It also had a strong representation of paintings depicting the countryside, its landscape and work. Epitomising these have been the exhibitions of the artists Harry Becker, Eric Arnold Roberts Ennion and George Soper. Since 2017, the gallery operated only online but has now closed. Suffolk artists who exhibited at the Wildlife Gallery include Brin Edwards, Bruce Pearson and Christopher Ryland.
