SIDCUP SCHOOL OF ART

Sidcup School of Art, also known as Sidcup Art College, was founded in 1898 by Cecil Ross Burnett, who was the first headmaster. In 1952 as Sidcup Art College, it was on Grassington Road, Sidcup. In 1962 it amalgamated with Bromley College of Art and Beckenham School of Art to form Ravensbourne School of Art, which in 1965 consolidated in a new building at Bromley Common. It is now Ravensbourne University London.
