Evelyn Alice Clutton-Brock

As Evelyn Alice Vernon-Harcourt she was born at Limpsfield, Surrey on 30 December 1876, daughter of Leveson Francis Vernon-Harcourt (25 January 1839-14 September 1907) and his wife Alice née Brandreth (1844-28 August 1919), younger daughter of Lieut. Colononel Henry Rowland Brandreth, who married at St Paul's Church, Knightsbridge, London on 2 August 1870. Evelyn married on 6 August 1903, Arthur Clutton-Brock (23 March 1868-8 January 1924) a former barrister and an author. In 1939 she was a widow living at Lock Cottage, Nayland, Suffolk with her son Alan Francis Clutton-Brock and his wife Barbara. Evelyn exhibited at the Royal Academy from Lock Cottage, Bear Street, Nayland, Suffolk in 1950 'Shirley Poppies'. Evelyn Alice Clutton-Brock died at Cheltenham, Gloucestershire on 28 July 1964.
