Michele Ashby was born in Cyprus and has lived much of her life in Essex. Michele graduated with a B.A. (hons) in Graphic Design from Kingston University and forged a successful career running her own business in graphic design for several years. Michele is now a full-time professional artist and is a Master Pastelist and Signature Member with the Pastel Society of America and has achieved Master Circle status with the International Association of Pastel Societies. An Associate Member of the Society of Women Artists, a member of the Institute of East Anglian Artists, and a Unison Colour Pastels Associate Artist. Michele has exhibited widely in the UK and abroad including at The National Arts Club New York City; The Butler Institute of American Art and the Mall Gallery, London.
