NASH, Brenda
Brenda Nash gained a B.A. (hons) degree in printmaking at Norwich University of the Arts in 1995. Brenda is an artist printmaker and tutor, using traditional print, photography, and modern sustainable home methods and works with traditional printmaking techniques, but also includes mixed media at times. She is keen to explore innovative ideas and approaches to incorporate with the more traditional aspects of printmaking. Her work is linocut, hand burnished onto Japanese paper and includes collagraphs and etching and tends to be large, eye catching beautiful, often with a political and social message. In 2017 Brenda went on a Printmaking residency at Scuola Grafica in Venice and has been a member of Gainsborough's House Print Workshop and Atrium Studios in University of Suffolk and is a former member of Suffolk Open Studios from Woodbridge, Suffolk. Brenda has exhibited at the Aldeburgh Gallery, Gallery 142 in Felixstowe, Suffolk and elsewhere.
