ELVIN, Dorin
Dorin Elvin, when a student at University Campus Suffolk she had an installation shown on the Saatchi Gallery website. Dorin graduated B.A. (hons) Fine Art since when Dorin's work has diversified. She has cast her own work at Butley Mills Studios and then studied the techniques of etching at Sudbourne Park Printmakers. Lately her media has been acrylics, charcoal, and ink, producing colourful near or abstract paintings and collages mostly of landscapes. Dorin loves drawing 'en plein air' to get the feeling of a place, then her memory and colourful imagination play their part back in the studio. A member of the Ipswich Art Society and exhibits regularly.
