MATTIN, Judy

As Judy Woodward, she was born at Woodbridge, Suffolk. Judy was educated at Thomas Mills School, Framlingham, Suffolk and married at Woodbridge in 1961, Roger C. Mattin (born 1940), and paints under the name of Judy Mattin. Judy has been painting for most of her life, working in all medias but concentrates on watercolour, being inspired by the East Anglian skies and ever-changing light. She paints local landscapes and estuaries and specialises in detailed marine paintings. A member of the Woodbridge Art Club and has exhibited from Bredfield Road, Woodbridge at the Taplin Gallery in Woodbridge.
