Emma Kerridge

Emma Lianne Kerridge, was born at Ipswich in 1990, daughter of Wayne P. Kerridge and his wife Linda née Orris, who married at Sudbury, Suffolk in 1985. Emma has a degree in Biology and Geology and a Research Masters in Biology and is a self-taught wildlife artist, using coloured pencils, primarily Prismacolor Premier and Faber-Castell Polychromos, to bring my work to life. Emma has loved wildlife since a child and this is the main focus of her artwork. She has experimented with many other mediums but is fascinated with the effects that coloured pencils can produce and is learning more techniques to push her art. Based in Ipswich, Suffolk, Emma exhibits her work from her home, at local exhibitions including 'Art on the Prom' at Felixstowe, Suffolk, with Pam Rees [q.v.], and craft fairs and will take commissions. She also creates prints, cards and gifts from her original artwork which are available to purchase through the Elkie Shop.
