Claire Weeks

As Claire Louise Bunting, she was born on 22 July 1970. Claire is a water colour artist, drawing on her love of chickens and being inspired by her own spirited cockerel, chickens, and hens. Her full range of colourful watercolour products includes paintings, stationery and tableware with her work being transferred onto glass, melamine and well as cards and invitations. Claire has exhibited her work at several galleries across Northumberland, The Borders, Lothian's, and Dunkeld, including the Gymnasium Gallery, Berwick Barracks, The Parade, Berwick-upon-Tweed the East Linton Annual Art Exhibition, when she was joint first in the watercolour section and locally at the Hunter Gallery in Bury St Edmund's. A member of the Lavenham Art Society from 29 Honeysuckle Way, Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk but more recently moved to Alpheton, Sudbury, Suffolk. Claire is a member of the Suffolk Art Society and does commissions, based on photographs of hens in their home environments incorporating background features to make the picture colourful and interesting and is also interested in painting flowers, her mediums are watercolour.
