PARKER-ANDREWS, Jess
As Jessica Rose Andrews, she was born at Ipswich in 1990, daughter of Nigel B. Andrews (born 1960) and his wife Mandy Jean née Parker (born 1966). Jessica studied Fine Art but has been drawing and painting since a child and her most useful art lesson was discovered outside the classroom by living life and experimenting. Jess, as she is known, specialises in wild animal paintings, combining strong watercolour and ink pen, without any preparatory work in a relaxed style full of movement, her paintings are not 'pencilled out' or 'traced' beforehand, just ink pen and watercolour. Jess exhibits with the Natural World Art Group at Banham Zoo, Norfolk and at Art on the Prom at Felixstowe, Suffolk, also exhibiting at Upstairs Gallery, Beccles, Suffolk; Ipswich Town Hall Gallery and at New Artists Fair, Candid Galleries, Torrens Street, London. Her studio is at Ipswich from where she accepts commissions for paintings and illustrations of domestic/wild animals and birds also landscapes & buildings. She also produces hand finished greetings card with designs including Squirrels, Badgers and Foxes. She signs her works 'J.P.A.'.
