OLLERENSHAW, Nony
As Nony Winifred Marks, she was born at Lymington, Hampshire in March 1920, daughter of Dennis Holt Marks (25 January 1879-1946), a clerk, and his wife Irene Moncrief Colvile (29 March 1888-18 December 1974), youngest daughter of Mr. H. A. Colville of Grove House, Lymington, who married at Lymington Parish Church on 17 July 1915 and in 1939 were living at Flat 23, 2 Greville Road, Hampstead, London. Nony married at Marylebone, London in 1947, Neville Finnemore Ollerenshaw and they had one daughter. After her husband's retirement in 1982 they lived at Beccles, Suffolk. Both her and her husband were members and exhibitors at the Beccles Society of Artists 1977-1990, and Nony was also a book illustrator including 'Daniel of Beccles: Urbanus Magnus' (2007)', Beccles Ablaze' (2010) and 'Hark to the Bells' (2011). Nony Winifred Ollerenshaw was living at 3 White House Gardens, Beccles when she died on 4 August 2021.
