MARSHALL, Diana Mary
Diana Mary Marshall, was born at Woodbridge, Suffolk in April 1948, daughter of Albert William Marshall (1915-27 February 1967) and his wife Phyllis Mary née Turner (born 30 January 1917), who married at Woodbridge in 1939. Diana began her career as a student at Ipswich School of Art before entering Chelsea College of Art & Design followed by the Royal College of Art where she studied textile design. A period of freelance work with which she combined teaching and, finally obtained her B.A. in illustration at Central St Martin's School of Art. She married in 1983 Simon C Stocker.
