NUTBEEM, Adrian
Adrian Clifton Francis Nutbeem was born at Ilford, Essex in August 1946, son of Harold Victor Nutbeem (20 February 1894-1951), a metropolitan police officer, and his wife Agnes Mary née Burr (15 May 1913-2000), who married at Stoke Newington, London in 1933 and in 1939 were living at 22 Rialton Road, Ilford. Adrian studied engineering 1962-1965 working in high-performance materials, he then studied at Camberwell School of Arts & Crafts 1965-1966 and post-graduate studies at the Slade School of Fine Art 1969-1971. Adrian commenced teaching art at Liverpool Polytechnic and at Leicester Polytechnic followed by short-term placings in England and overseas 1969-1980 and Havering College, Essex 1980-1994. An artist and teacher and had exhibitions at The School of Art Gallery, Cleveland 1984; London University Guildhall Gallery 1993 and Arts Coritani, Swineshead 2003. He lived at North Green, Kelsale, Saxmundham, Suffolk.
