MANN, Dale
Dale A. Mann was born at Ipswich on 29 January 1959. Self-taught but studied illustration and design at Ipswich Civic College, now Suffolk College 1979-1982, leaving to make a living as an artist. Dale Mann was a visual artist working in a variety of media and through the 1980s exhibiting in open competitions and selected exhibitions including, the Royal Over-Seas League Annual Exhibition 1986 in London, Essex Open Exhibition 1988 and England & Co Gallery, First Floor, 216 Westbourne Grove, London in 1991, gaining recognition for box constructions and collages. His first solo show was at Chappel Galleries, Essex in 1993 with others at North House Gallery, Manningtree. Represented in numerous private collections in the UK, United States, Germany, and Holland. He had his studios at Bylam Cottages, Woolverstone, Ipswich. Dale Mann died on 25 April 2016.
