GEORGE FARNHAM GALLERY
The George Farnham Gallery at 6a High Street in Saxmundham, Suffolk opened its doors in November 2016 and is a contemporary. A warm and inviting gallery that focuses on exhibiting local Suffolk artists work but also other East Anglian artists even as far away as London. Exhibitions change every 6-8 weeks interspersed with a 2 week ‘specialist’ exhibition. Private views are usually held on the preceding Sunday of an exhibition from 1-4 pm. The George Farnham Gallery support the local community and has an annual exhibit highlighting the GCSE Students from Alde Valley Academy and more recently the students of Saxmundham Primary School. An associate member of Suffolk Open Studios. Suffolk artists who have exhibited with the George Farnham Gallery include Jane Cochrane, Susan Debnam,Hilary Garner, Thom Hobson, Kit Leese and Norma Read.
