REEVE, Clarence Victor
Clarence Victor Reeve was born at 13 Rupert Street, Heigham, Norwich, Norfolk on 3 October 1897, second son of Thomas Sidney Reeve (25 October 1873-1957), a coachmaker, and his wife Alice Louisa Davies (4 September 1871-1948), daughter of George Davies of Diss, Norfolk, who married at Princes Street Congregational Church, Norwich on 26 March 1894 and in 1939 were living at West Cottage, Sproughton, Ipswich. In 1911, Clarence was a 13-year-old, living at 69 Cambridge Street, Norwich with his parents, 37-year-old Thomas and 39-year-old Alice, with siblings Russell Sidney, Stanley Cyril and Ivy Mary 3. He married at Ipswich in 1921, Mabel Rose Wright (22 July 1898-1962) and their children were Diana Rose Reeve and John Constable Reeve. In 1939, a smallholder & market gardener, living at Valley Farm Drive, Sproughton, Ipswich with his wife and two children. A member and exhibitor at the Norfolk & Norwich Art Circle 1962-1967 from Mettingham, Suffolk. Clarence Victor Reeve died at Alder Farm, Mettingham, Suffolk on 10 May 1982.
