FLEET, Paul
Paul J Fleet is a nationally renowned digital artist who likes to explore the subconscious and the bizarre who has been working on and producing a series of large scale surreal artworks by using traditional oil painting techniques with a realistic approach, these works are currently being exhibited in original and digital forms who is inspired by the ideas of Maurits Cornelis Escher (17 June 1898–27 March 1972), Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (27 January 1832–14 January 1898), better known by his pen name Lewis Carroll and Salvador Dali (11 May 1904–23 January 1989). He now produces highly original oil paintings which make great statement pieces. Paul is living and working in Ipswich with interests in the Surreal, impossible structures, illustration and installations and also an accomplished photographer. Apart from being in many private collections his work has also been used to illustrate books, posters and album covers, been published in magazines and newspapers worldwide as well as technical, scientific and medical journals. He has also exhibited with Saatchi Gallery and has shown locally at Art at the Ferry, Felixstowe, Suffolk and Naze Tower Gallery, Essex.
