Sara Jane Sayer is a painter and illustrator living in Walpole near Halesworth in Suffolk. Sara came to Suffolk with her family in 2021 and is getting to know the local arts scene and personalities and creates art from her garden studio, a converted stable in the Suffolk countryside studio where she paints and designs fresh and pretty art featuring British flowers, birds and butterflies. The village provides inspiration everywhere, from wild hedgerow flowers, to tawny owls and hares and paints as a meditation on the beauty of flowers and hedgerow creatures. Many pieces in the range refer to the special secret meaning that the Victorians attached to native British Flowers. Sara is a member of Aldeburgh Beach Lookout Arts Club and attends many art exhibitions throughout East Anglia.
