NEW IPSWICH ART GROUP
The New Ipswich Art Group was a short lived club founded by Colin Moss after his resignation, in 1953, owing to the reactionary presidency of Anna Airy when in 1958 he set up a 'New Ipswich Art Group' but re-joined Ipswich Art Club in 1961 after which nothing more is heard of this Art Group. Cedric Morris exhibited his 'Rooftops, Tavira, Portugal' oil painting at an exhibition of paintings and sculpture by the New Ipswich Art Group in October 1959, cat. no.33.
