SANDERS, Loesje Vere
Loesje Vere Sanders was born in September 1947. Loesje Sanders was a theatrical agent and the producer of the play 'Alfredo Galvez - 12 shifts of Gear' by Chilean author Juan Vera with Barrie Houghton the lead actor and interpreter of the character Alfredo Gálvez. Loesje now works at the Bluebird Pottery, Sudbourne, Suffolk with her pots being hand built and grow out of a preconceived idea, and she allows the clay to take its own form. The glazes enhance the organic nature of the pots. She married at Stepney, London in 1979 Barrie Houghton and, together with her husband, had their first joint exhibition at Artspace Woodbridge in 2022 she has also exhibited at Craftco, Southwold and elsewhere.
