WHITSETT, Bill

1932 - ?

William Whitsett an American who came to the UK and settled in Suffolk but later returned to his home country. Whilst in Suffolk he lived at Layham near Hadleigh and taught painting including Nick Hayward and is the author of 'Watercolour for Absolute Beginners' (2003). In 1988 he exhibited at the Hadleigh Gallery with three other Hadleigh artist Harry Hambling, Winifred Hanrahan and James Chambury. In 2004 he gave a talk and demonstration at the Nayland Art Group.
