GAINER, Betty
As Betty Leadbetter she was born on 16 March 1920. In 1939 she was living at 7 British Grove, Chiswick, Brentford and she married at Brentford in 1940 Harold Gainer (1913-1993) and worked as Betty Gainer. She studied at Chelsea School of Art and was a prolific wildlife artist, working mostly in oils with most of her work on silk was sold by Bond Street shops. She lived latterly in Bungay, Suffolk. Betty Gainer died in Suffolk on 11 December 2015, aged 95.
