FRYER, Peter

Peter Fryer was educated at Ely in Cambridgeshire and studied illustration at Ipswich School of Art. Peter became a dredger man and a commercial fisherman the reason that he paints and draws coastal scenes with his stone mosaics depicting the seaside, collecting different coloured stones from Suffolk beaches before carefully piecing them together. Peter currently [2025] lives at Bawdsey, Woodbridge, Suffolk. He has exhibited his work at local Suffolk cafés, Naze Tower Gallery at Walton-on-the-Naze, Essex; Garden Street Grill, 16 Garden Street, Cromer, Norfolk; Island Fish, Newpark, Isles of Scilly and elsewhere.
