THOMAS, Dan
Daniel Kieron Thomas was born in Capel St Mary, near Ipswich in July 1971. Dan studied at Anglia Ruskin University 1989-1990 on a foundation course and at Middlesex University 1990-1993 for his BA in Graphic Design. Dan started a career in graphic design with Getty Images and then spent ten years as an Associate at Conran & Partners, Sir Terence Conran’s architecture and design practice in London. He married in Deben district of Suffolk in 2001 Lisa Marie Cole and in 2005 he returned to live at Holbrook, near Ipswich where he and his wife, Lisa, established Come Hither Design Ltd, their own graphic design studio and Lisa established Come Hither Gallery supporting local artists. Dan is reappraising his early passion for printmaking producing linocuts and letterpress designs, inspired by the Suffolk countryside and his love of Ipswich Town Football Club.
