WATCHORN, Bobbie

Roberta C Fryers was born in Leeds in 1953, daughter of Gordon Fryers. She married in Surrey in 1976 Simon James Watchorn (1955-) and works as Bobbie Watchorn. Bobbie has lived most of her life in the countryside, and being a farmer's wife spends a lot of time in the rural environment, immersed in nature and observing both domesticated and non domesticated animals. Having drawn and painted from childhood, she finds that she can express herself most freely with the three-dimensional image, working in ceramics and cold cast bronze and will draw several 'sketch pieces' to ensure the sculpture works from all angles and to capture the spirit of the subjects. Bobbie is a member and exhibitor at the Black Dog Arts from Earsham Park Farm, Old Railway Road, Bungay, Suffolk.
