As Carla Elizabeth Wiggins she was born in June 1980. Carla was educated at Woodbridge School 1996-1998 and studied at Anglia Ruskin University 1998-2001 for her B.A. (hons) degree in Art History and Studio Art. An experienced creative/graphic designer with a demonstrated history of working in the publishing industry with strong arts and design, professional skilled in graphics, logo design, advertising, typography, and Adobe creative suite. Art has always been a passion for Carla, despite a long break after art school to pursue a career in graphic design, in 2022 Carla reintroduced art back into her life and works as Carla Elizabeth. Initially concentrating on pet and animal portraits, her work is now focused on creating distinctive pieces based on the coast and countryside. Living in the Suffolk countryside, near to the coast which is a source of inspiration for Carla with its ever-changing seas, dynamic skies and dramatic textures of the coastal landscape which are often captured within Carla's pastel, oil or acrylic paintings. Carla shares her passion through regular art workshops, inviting everyone to experience the joy of drawing or painting, even if they haven't touched a paintbrush since school.
