MARKET HOUSE GALLERY
Market House Gallery in Market Place, Marazion, Cornwall originally opened as Sims Gallery in 1998, specialising in traditional Newlyn and Modern British. In 2001, the gallery became known as Market House under the auspices of Jonathan Grimble, who brought many modern and contemporary artists to further prominence. In 2005 Kevin Dickenson took the Gallery and promoted many contemporary artists but in 2007 Paul Longthorne acquired the gallery, returning to Market House grass roots with quality 20th Century Cornish Artists and the introduction of several new current figures. The gallery carries an extensive stock of drawings, watercolours, oils, sculpture, retro ceramics and glassware. Suffolk artists who have exhibited with Market House Gallery include Michael Rees and Vernon Rose.
