SCULPT GALLERY
The Sculpt Gallery at Priory Road, Braxted Park Road, Tiptree, Colchester in Essex, is one of only a handful of art galleries in the UK specialising in contemporary British sculpture and studio ceramics. Sculpt Gallery was founded in 2012 by gallery director, Debra Blik, combining her knowledge and passion for sculpture, with her extensive marketing expertise. Through a programme of regular exhibitions, they display work by some of the UK's most collected names and rising talent from the East Anglian region. Taking advantage of their rural setting, the gardens surrounding the gallery also display a permanent collection of sculptures by international sculptor, Maurice Blik (1939-), who is the gallery's principal artist, living and working on site. Suffolk artists who have exhibited with Sculpt Gallery include Gus Farnes and Carol Pask.
