Church Street Gallery at 77a High Street, Saffron Walden is an independent art gallery situated opposite the church halfway down Church Street in the heart of Saffron Walden, Essex. In 2018 local artist Daisy Courtauld went to work for Debbie Scott, Church Street Gallery's previous owner, as her gallery assistant and since 2023 the gallery has been owned and run by Daisy Courtauld. The gallery represents a diverse range of contemporary painters, printmakers and ceramicists bringing a collection of affordable art by both established and emerging artists. Throughout the year one can see a varied programme of exhibitions and events displaying the work of artists from the local area and beyond including a collection of paintings and hand pulled prints. Also, you can get advice on framing, with Daisy there most days and is always happy to discuss your needs. Suffolk artists who have exhibited at Church Street Gallery, Saffron Walden include Marcella Cooper, Clare Curtis, Gilia Florentin-Lee, Margaret Glass.
