HADLEIGH OLD SCHOOL
Hadleigh Old School at 3-5 Bridge Street, Hadleigh, Ipswich Suffolk is the new name for the former school and revived concert hall a venue for entertainment, art shows, music, films, exhibitions, and festivals under the ownership of Matthew Alun Hodges (1971-). The vision is to create a vibrant, cultural hub with an eclectic and inspirational programme of events and activities to appeal to a contemporary, 21st century audience and providing a venue to display new and emerging talent. They are a commercial business under the directorship of Ian Patrick Grutchfield (1968-) who moved to Hadleigh in 1974, and after studying History at the University of Bristol embarked on a career in the media. Suffolk artists who have exhibited at the Hadleigh Old School include Sandra Wall Armitage; James Chambury, Christopher Chestnutt and Kit Leese and the Inspired By Benton End group.
