SUDBURY ARTS & CRAFTS
Sudbury Arts & Crafts exhibition was supported by the Sudbury branch of the Halstead Coopertive Society with the second exhibition opened in 1945 by Mr R. L. Gillingham, headmaster of Sudbury Grammar School and the third Sudbury Arts & Crafts Exhibition was held on 16-19 October 1946 at the Cooperative Society Buildings, North Street, Sudbury. Further exhibitions were held in Sudbury Town Hall but seem to have been succeeded by a Trades Exhibition which faded away in the early 1950s. Suffolk artist who exhibited at this exhibition include Brian William Cardy.
