EALING ART COLLEGE
Ealing Art College began in 1957 and was a school of higher education on St Mary's Road, Ealing, London.
In the early 1960s, the School of Art taught fashion design, graphic design, photography, music, and art. There was also a School of Liberal Arts and language courses in French, Spanish, German and Russian. The College offered External London University courses in the 1960s. The BA degree and BSc Economics with specialisation in various components like Geography, Economics and Law, attracted many British and foreign students, and lecturers from various London University Colleges. Alumni include Gideon Gechtman (1942–2008), Alan Lee (1947-), Arthur Ted Powell (1947-), Barbara Tate (1927-2009), and Stephen Willats. It now forms the Ealing campus for the University of West London. Suffolk tutors at Ealing Art College include Roy Ascott and artists who studied at Ealing Art College include Susie Joyce.
