Brian Perry is an amateur artist but has attended various evening classes including the painting holidays and classes of Ken Cuthbert who has had a considerable influence on his work. Perry has exhibited in local galleries and regularly with the Ipswich Art Society and is a member of the Ipswich Arts Association.

Note: can be conflated with another Brian Perry who is a retired mobile crane operator who has painted on and off for a time, still working in a collage but his passion is painting in watercolour and other mediums mostly of the Whitby, Whitehaven and Lake District areas.
