ROWLANDS, Hayley

Hayley Jane Rowlands was born and raised on a farm in Dorset. She has a background in therapeutic services and has been a social worker for over thirty years and originally found pottery as a way to relax outside her day job. She discovered her passion for ceramics and its benefit on wellbeing and creativity and has attended various pottery classes over the years and is now a potter and member of Woodbridge Art Club. Hayley, after living in various counties, around year 2000, together with her husband Adam, who worked for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), moved to Minsmere in Suffolk and then to nearby Adringham where she runs potters 'Breaking the Mould Ltd.' Hayley is a member of the Ipswich Arts Association and has recently looked to expand her passion and to exhibit her own work along with sharing the joy of ceramic making with others, running classes from her garden studio. She works with Butley Mills Studios and is a member of Suffolk Open Studios from 2 Hill Cottages, Aldringham, Suffolk.
