CAWOOD, Jean
Jean Patricia Cawood was born Tadcaster, Yorkshire on 23 May 1931, youngest of the three daughters of George Herbert Cawood (28 July 1905-1974), a wood machinist, and his wife Ivy née Appleby (25 February 1908-1970), who married in Leeds South in 1930. Jean studied at Leeds College of Art where she met her future husband, Jack Cudworth and they married at Leeds in 1953 and, together with her husband, moved to Dublin 1953-1975. On their return to England, she lived at Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk with husband and three children. As Mrs Jean Cawood, she exhibited at the Royal Academy from The Park, Great Barton, Bury St Edmund’s. Jean Patricia Cudworth died back at Leeds on 30 August 2012.
