PETCHEY, Victoria
Victoria Imogene Petchey studied art at Suffolk College 2004-2005 and at Norwich School of Art and Design 2005-2008 for her B.A. (hons) degree in Illustration. Victoria focuses on painting and drawing the inspiration around her has been illustrating local buildings and businesses in her hometown of Felixstowe in Suffolk. She creates a variety of art, based on animals, nature, architecture, women, and people using acrylic, ink, watercolour, charcoal, and graphite. Since 2019 a professional artist and in 2020 a director of The Gallery Box, a mobile art studio bringing art to those who are eager to develop their artistic skills or for anyone willing to create art. They partner with some of the best artists in Suffolk and provide a series of different art classes, workshops, and festivals in Felixstowe. Victoria also works on commission specialising in pet portraits and buildings and runs art classes held at The Waffle Shack in Felixstowe. She has exhibited at Art on the Prom at Felixstowe and elsewhere.
