Christopher R. Evans is a freelance illustrator, most of his work was figurative, by contrast, he now explores landscape and architecture in his prints. Christopher married at Wood Green, London in 1961, Hilary Evans née Punchard. Chris’ favourite subjects are coastal scenes especially the variety of shipping from rowing boats to huge container ships with holiday sketches in Italy, France and the British Isles sources of inspiration. Etching is a favourite medium, but he also works on drypoint and collagraphs. He exhibited with the International Mini Print Exhibition in 2017 at Wingfield Barns and exhibits with his partner Hilary Evans at the Walsham Arts & Crafts Group at the Priory Room.
