She married at Wood Green, London in 1961, Christopher R. Evans and, as an illustrator, has worked in partnership with her husband Christopher for most of her career. They lived at Eye, Suffolk and she enrolled in a printmaking class to learn the intricacies of etching and the graphic qualities of lino printing. Having gained experience of the various techniques she was able to explore her own ideas, having a preference for pattern and colour, finding the natural world an area of inspiration as well as building structures and landscape. She enjoys building layers and textures onto card to make a collagraph plate being her preferred method of printing, also the different processes of making an etching plate absorbing. She usually produces individual prints in a variety of colours rather than print editions.
