RIBBANS-KEATLEY, Averil
As Averil Maureen Ribbans, she was born in the Deben district of Suffolk in 1938, daughter of Albert Charles Ribbans and his wife Edith Allingham Bennett (13 August 1904-28 August 1983), daughter of Cornelius Bennett of The Oaks, Mountnessing, Essex, who married at Shenfield Parish Church, Essex on 31 August 1935. Averil married in the Samford district of Suffolk in 1965, Maurice John Keatley (1933-24 February 2022) and paints under the name of Averil Ribbans Keatley. A member and exhibitor at the Southwold Art Circle in 2009 'Snow Covered Sunflowers' and in 2013 won the John Simpson Memorial Award. Averil Maureen Keatley died on 2 July 2020.
