Ed Stokes is mostly a wildlife artist living and working in rural Suffolk. After taking an Illustration degree at Leeds Polytechnic has spent the last twenty years developing a style which really suits his subject matter in capturing the expressions of animals and creating an atmosphere around them, an ungainly pheasant fleeing across deep snow, or the knowing, wicked grin of a calculating fox using pen, ink, watercolour, and acrylics. He has his studio at 3 Old Hall Barns, Thurston Road, Pakenham, Bury St Edmund's, Suffolk where he also takes pet commissions.
