HESTER, Andrew

Andrew John Hester was born at 46 Roundwood Park, Harpenden, Hertfordshire in November 1941, son of Dr Kenneth Henry Clement Hester (27 October 1908-27 November 2001), a medical practitioner, and his wife Muriel Milbey née Harrison (1 April 1912-28 April 1994), who married at Friends Meeting House, Park Lane, Croydon on 5 December 1936. Andrew is a member and exhibitor at the Woodbridge Art Club also a member of the Ipswich Arts Association and has also exhibited at West Mersea; Colchester and in Suffolk at Aldeburgh; The John Gibbins Gallery, Woodbridge and at Artspace Woodbridge. Andrew Hester's brother Richard paints in oils and his sister Mary Knott and sister-in-law, Susan Hester paint in acrylic and watercolour
