BUSHBY, Belinda
Belinda Anne Bushby was born in September1971. She worked in Christie’s Wine Department, before moving to a Japanese-owned wine sourcing company. In 2001 she joined forces with Charles Meyrick (1971-) to set up Balthazar Ltd in Tavistock Square, London selling fine wine and cigars, before moving to Suffolk in 2005 and in 2008 setting up Bushby Fine Wines. As an artist Belinda uses classic media such as oils, pastels, and charcoal, using her surroundings and her family, human, canine and feline, as her inspiration. Much of her work is completed at home, but some is done in situ and commissions are welcomed, for portraits, pet portraits or anything. She was a member of Suffolk Open Studios from Rose Cottage, Friday Street, Rendlesham, Woodbridge, Suffolk and has exhibited in Suffolk at the Peter Pears Gallery, Aldeburgh; Artspace Woodbridge and at Brick Lane Gallery, Shoreditch, London, and elsewhere.
