Paula Hill was born in Essex. A mostly self-taught artist with her art focused on portraits, particularly well-known celebrities in the music and film industry, along with creatives and historical figures. Paula mostly works in acrylics and some oils, in an expressive style and enjoys using a palette of bold colours to create strong, eye-catching imagery. Most of her artwork’s focal point is the face which she paints on a large scale with every face reflecting something unique. In addition to portrait paintings, she takes commissions for pet portraits, landscapes, and abstract projects. A member of the Woodbridge Art Club, where she also exhibits and of the Suffolk Open Studios from her studio at Long Reach, School Lane, Ufford, Woodbridge, Suffolk.
