Emma Connolly

Emma Connolly's work is inspired by the Essex and Suffolk landscape where she lives and was brought up. The East Anglian skyscapes, the vast horizons and rolling fields gives he an ever-changing colour palette from which to work. As well as a practising artist, Emma is also an Art Educator having worked with Colchester & Ipswich Museums Service, been part of the Tate Common Projects and lectured for the International Studies Project for many years, as well as many other collaborations such as working with the GeeWizz Charity. Emma was also the co-author of the education programme for Ed Sheeran: Made in Suffolk exhibition. A member of the People of Print, Colchester Art Society and The New Art Rebellion and she has exhibited at The Gallery Box, Felixstowe; Waterfront Gallery, Ipswich; Scarborough, North Yorkshire; Waterfront Gallery, University of Suffolk; Minories, Colchester; Hidden Talent, Birmingham; Old Red Bus Station, Leeds; University of Essex; Base Gallery, Brick Lane, London; Ben Oakley Gallery, London; Galaudet Gallery, Wisconsin, USA; Greenhouse, Berlin, Germany; Cultural Center of Moschato, Athens, Greece; A3 Gallery, Moscow, Russia and elsewhere.
