FITZLYON, Ian
Ian Zinovieff Fitzlyon was born in Kensington, London in December 1935, second son of Leo Lvovitch Zinovieff (15 February 1905-21 September 1951) and his wife Princess Sofka Petrovna née Dolgorouky (23 October 1907-1994), a ward of the Duke of Hamilton, who married at the Russian Church of St Philip, Buckingham Palace Road, London on 27 June 1931 and separated shortly after the birth of Ian and later divorced. On 4 January 1957 Ian took the additional name of Fitzlyon and married at Chelmsford, Essex in 1957, Josephine S Collins, Jo Fitzlyon. Ian was a member of the Lavenham Art Society from 12 Corporal Lillie Close, Sudbury, Suffolk. Ian Zinovieff Fitzlyon died on 15 March 2023.
