PEACHEY, Harry Edward
Harry Edward Peachey was born at Halesworth, Suffolk in 1862 and baptised at Halesworth on 14 August 1864, son of Anne Waters Peachey (1832-1875) who married at Halesworth in 1864, Robert Peachey (1831-1877). In 1881, Harry was an 18-year-old student at St John's College, Battersea, living at Wissett Road, Halesworth with his uncle and aunt, 53-year-old Francis Girling, a tailor, and 50-year-old Sarah Girling. He won a prize for his drawings, which were on display at the Rifle Hall, Halesworth, at the Science and Art Department of South Kensington Museum in November 1880. His later history is yet to be uncovered.
