Hannah Aria

Hannah Aria was born in Rochdale but relocated to Ipswich as a child. Hannah was a Health Promotion Specialist prior to entering the professional arts arena and is an experienced Youth and Community Worker. As a young art student, Hannah was highly influenced by the groundbreaking conceptual artist Tracey Emin (born 1963), who had begun to push the boundaries of modern art and perception, and the works of Kerry Darlington (born 1974) which inspired her to explore the medium of resin which began her obsession with three-dimensional embellishments. Hannah studied at the University of Suffolk, Ipswich graduating B.A. (hons) Arts Practice, Class of 2018 and 2020, launching herself as a professional artist in the summer 2018 and debuting at Art Fair East in Norwich. Hannah Aria is primarily a visual artist who brings beautiful mixed media pieces to life using 3D design and resin-based media. Hannah is a member of the Ipswich Art Society and has exhibited at Penny Black Gallery, Brentwood; The Brick Lane Gallery, London; Ipswich Art Society; the Minories, Colchester and elsewhere. A full member of Suffolk Open Studios from her studio at Makerspace, 11 Dove Street, Ipswich.
